2 more QC churches will disappear

Ste-Jeanne-d'Arc church
1922
Lefebvre, QC
will be sold to the municipality for $1.00 & it will be turned into a multifunctional center for the use of the citizens. Mass will continue to be celebrated for the Catholics of the area.
St-Sauveur  church
1865
Montréal, QC
An historic building located at the corner of Viger & St-Denis Streets in the city, the church will be demolished to make way for the new hospital (Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal: CHUM). We are told that the bell and steeple will be kept as will be the stained glass windows.

  2. Welcome to the Geneabloggers family. Hope you find the association fruitful; I sure do. I have found it most stimulating, especially some of the Daily Themes.

May you keep sharing your ancestor stories!
